#2 of 4 hotels in Bagno a Ripoli based on Tripadvisor
Florence

9.0/10

The hotel offers a spacious setup and is located in a relaxing area just outside the touristy hustle of Florence. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. However, the rooms needed some renovation, especially with outdated shower facilities, and the access to them could be tricky with steep stairs, especially for families with little ones. Overall, a solid stay but with a few noticeable quirks.

Rooms
7.0
The room was incredibly spacious, and the air conditioning worked well, which was a lifesaver in the heat. However, it could definitely use some renovation, as I couldn't control the air conditioning myself and the shower facilities felt a bit dated. Getting to the room involved a spiral staircase that might be challenging for families with small children.

The location was great for unwinding after the busy tourist spots in central Florence. Situated in a beautiful park, it offered a nice escape and wasn't far from the city center. Just be sure to reserve seats for the shuttle into Florence early on.

The dining experience was excellent! The breakfast spread was possibly the best I've had in Italy, featuring fresh fruits, multiple types of breads, and hot dishes like scrambled eggs and bacon, all served in a lovely garden setting.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly spacious and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was essential in the heat. I really appreciated the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. However, the location is a bit far from the city center, though it is very peaceful and safe. Overall, for the size of the room and the service, the price felt like a steal.

The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-equipped, and the air conditioning worked well, which was necessary in the summer heat. For €200 a night, it felt like an incredible bargain.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was beautiful, surrounded by gardens and close to the city center, which made it a peaceful retreat from Florence's hustle. The staff was really kind and helpful, especially during my last-minute travel changes. However, the rooms weren't as quiet as I'd hoped, and the AC was a bit of a hassle since I couldn't control it from my room. Overall, it’s a charming spot, but some aspects could use improvement.

I had a pretty good stay overall. The hotel had super clean and comfortable rooms, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was nice, being away from the crowd but still close to the city center. However, the rooms could use a little renovation, and I faced some issues with amenities like controlling the air conditioning. Additionally, my partner missed having an iron/board available. All in all, it had great aspects, but a few details could definitely be improved.

Rooms

The rooms were super clean and comfortable, featuring a jacuzzi tub and cozy bathrobes. However, they needed a bit of renovation, and I couldn’t control the air conditioning myself, which was a bit frustrating.

The hotel offered a unique two-level room that's clean and comfortable, although the steep stairs might be a challenge, especially for families with small children. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant, and the location outside of Florence is ideal for exploring nearby attractions. However, the dining options could use some improvement, particularly at breakfast. Overall, it was a great stay with excellent value for money.

Rooms
8.0
The room was a unique setup spread over two levels, with a cozy couch and desk on the ground floor and a comfortable bed tucked under the roof. However, the steep stairs to the upper level may not be suitable for everyone, especially families.

The location was great, particularly if you have a car. It’s worth staying outside of Florence, with easy access to the Chianti road and other attractions.
Dining

While the dining selection was satisfactory, breakfast could have been better – we had tastier options at other places. However, each morning a little dessert was a nice touch.
Facilities

The facilities were well-kept, and the large grounds provided a nice area to walk around and enjoy the outdoors.
